How it works
Vacuum Forming is the process of turning a sheet of plastic into a desired shape.
It involves heating a solid flat plastic sheet to a high temperature so it becomes soft.
The plastic sheet is then stretched onto a single surface mould.
The vacuum then sucks the air out, pulling the plastic over the mould to form the shape.
Once the sheet cools down the plastic maintains the shape.
